Sarah Shorthouse

Much of my work is wheel thrown, cut and altered using hand coloured porcelain clays and stoneware with hand built additions.. I am inspired by geological forms and the natural landscape and mainly forcus on vessles such as vases and bowls to reflect these forms. My work is often simply glazed with my own glaze recipes so that the facets and angles of the vessels are enhanced.
