Amend Existing Members Gallery Entry

If you have an existing Members Gallery entry, then you can use this form to update your entry.

After entering your membership number and name, you will be asked which items on the Members Gallery entry that you wish to amend. If you answer “Yes” to any of the questions the form will open up further to provide space to enter the new information.

Please note that it is not possible to change individual images or images in the gallery entry (other than the image of you, if present). This is because it is too difficult to identify which images need to be retained and which ones deleted/changed. As a result, you will be asked to upload a whole new set of images for your gallery entry. Of course, you may choose to include some images that were previously used.

This will make it much easier for us to provide updates.

Please note the instructions below regarding the type of image files which can be accepted, and the filenames which must be used.

Please do not include any information that you do not wish to be freely available in the public domain.

Any contact e-mail address is protected and obscured by the use of a contact form, so that it is not visible. This should help to prevent e-mail addresses being used by the spamming and phishing community!

Gallery Images

You may submit up to 12 images for inclusion on the gallery.

The ideal size for these images is 1080 pixels wide (height dimension can be variable). However, our website can accomodate most image sizes if you cannot adjust this yourself.

All images must be in a JPEG format, with a “.jpg” file name. If image file are in another format then please convert them, using a friend or relative to help if needed. There are many online tools to do this (e.g. https://www.freeconvert.com/jpg-converter).

Please name the image files as follows before uploading them:-

yourname_1.jpg, yourname_2.jpg, ourname_3.jpg, etc., etc.

e.g. joebloggs_1.jpg, joebloggs_2.jpg

If you do not use this naming convention, then we may find not be able to find your images on our web server!

One image will be the featured image which shows on the members Gallery directory page (which will show one image per member). Your preferred “featured image” will be the first image file submitted, i.e.

yourname_1.jpg.

If possible this featured image should be an image with an aspect ratio is 4:3, (e.g. size 1080 x 810 pixels). This is becuase all images are automatically cropped to fit a standard space, and it it is another aspect ratio our web software may arbitrarily crop off part of the picture in a way that you do not like!

You are also invited to include an image of yourself, to be included above your artist statement. Some website viewers are interested to see the artist being described, as well as their work. This is entirely voluntary, so only please supply an image only if you are comfortable with this being included on a public website. Please name this image file as:-
