Please register your interest for exhibiting at the exhibition using the form below.
Please note that there are a maximum of 65 places. You will be asked to pay the application fee of £25 (if you are a full exhibitor) by debit or credit card online at the end of this application form.
If more people apply to exhibit than this limit, then places will be allocated by a random lottery/draw process after the application closing date. Applicants who do not get a confirmed place will be allocated a reserve position. We normally get some people dropping out, so normally most applicants can eventually get an exhibition space.
General Conditions of Entry
a) You must be a fully paid up member of SCG both at the time of your application and at the time of the exhibition.
b). First time exhibitors will be able to submit up to 3 items for no entry fee.
c). Other exhibitors will be able to submit up to 12 items for an entry fee of £25 per exhibitor. First timers can also chose to pay the entry fee and submit up to the full 12 items. Initially 5 – 6 items will be put out on exhibition, with the remainder being held in reserve, and placed on display as sales of your other items are made.
d). Commission on sales will be at the rate of 20%.
e). You will be asked to steward for at least one day and volunteer for supporting activities for the exhibition. This is a mandatory requirement, as the event is entirely run by the exhibitors as volunteers; the event will not run successfully without your commitment to volunteer for duties.
f). The application fee of £25 will be payable at time of application, using online payment by debit or credit card. (Please contact the orgainser if this is not possible/difficult). If you are placed on the reserve list, your application fee will be retained, pending places becoming available, up until the final exhibitor list is frozen 4 weeks before the start date of the event. If you do not get allocated an exhibition place at this time, your application fee will be refunded in full.
g). If you are allocated an exhibition place, or placed on the reserve list, you may withdraw at any time up to 4 weeks before the start date of the exhibition, with a full refund of your application fee. If you withdraw after this “freeze” of the exhibitor list at 4 weeks before the start date, then the committee reserves the right to retain your full application fee, and provide no refund. This is intended to incentivise members to declare any withdrawal early. This will allow other applicants on the reserve list to be added to the exhibitor list.
h). If you do not turn up to an allocated stewarding duty (you will be given the opportunity to declare possible/preferred stewarding dates well in advance of the exhibition dates) then the committee reserves the right to ban you from exhibiting in future SCG exhibitions for a period of 12 months.
