Since 2002, I have pursued pottery, developing my skills through courses at Putney School of Art and ongoing evening classes. Inspired by Danish ceramics and contemporary artists, I create functional and decorative wheel-thrown pieces, enhanced with surface decoration and coloured slips. I am now exploring custom glazes and alternative firing techniques, alongside a personal series of abstract ceramic elephants.
I am a member of Old Kiln Studios and the Southern Ceramic Group (since 2023), and have exhibited at The Great Kitchen for the past two years, where I have connected with a supportive community of fellow potters.
