In 1988 I became a fulltime potter after giving up infant teaching. I built my own studio in 1999 when I changed from Stoneware reduction to Stoneware reduction salting, I built a large 30 cubic foot salt kiln. I now make Stoneware salt glaze pots, mainly domestic with a few one off pieces. I also make my own clay in an old dough mixer .

I like to almost complete the pot on the wheel this way I get the most satisfaction from throwing, as I can nearly visualise the finished product during the first working process with the clay.

I built my own studio in 1999.
