Sarah Amos – The Pottery Corner

The Pottery Corner was established by Sarah Amos in 2017. Sarah is driven by the endless possibilities and outcomes of working with clay. She has a City & Guilds in Decorative Glass and worked for many years in fused and stained glass. This led her to return to clay and ceramics which remained a strong passion since her twenties. Her work is exhibited through West Sussex and Hampshire, and she is registered with The Southern Ceramic Group.

Sarah now works from her studio in a cosy corner of Fishbourne (Chichester, West Sussex), creating hand-built as well as thrown pieces. With the use of an electric kiln and Raku firing, Sarah makes an assortment of items both functional and decorative for the home and garden. She also runs courses for all abilities and Clay Club in the evening for those wishing to use the facilities of the studio and work on their own pieces.
